49 Year Wait Is Over (Finally) |
A great finale to a terrific season is captured in this dvd. It is a
welcome tribute to all long suffering Chicago hockey fans. The excitement
provided by the 2010 Blackhawk team rivaled the Chicago Bear Super Bowl
team of 1985. This dvd reflected the highs and lows of the past season.
Very highly recommended for all hockey fans in Chicago. |

Great Blu Ray - As a life long Blackhawks fan, i could not wait to get my hands of this. Well produced and gave the flavor of the Hawks Season. The video has interviews with most the players and management and nice game highlights especially during the playoffs. The Disc also has special features such as Behind The Scenes With The Stanley Cup

The Hawks have proven that by stinking up the joint and losing for a decade, you can collect enough draft picks to build a team that can win a Cup. Problem is that when the entry level contracts expire and they sign those high picks for big dollars, the team breaks up. Their team has now exploded with many of the main grit and role players departing for bigger paychecks elsewhere. I hear Hawks fans talking about "repeating" and I just laugh at how seriously deluded they are. The Wings have been a perennial contender for the Cup for well over a decade and continue to reload and be a threat. Red Wings players value wearing the red and white for the Ilitch family and take less money to stay there than to go somewhere else.....well MOST of them do (Hossa, the scumbag....not so much). For the 7,500 true Hawks fans who stuck by them through the crappy years.....I feel for you, really do. For all the johnny-come-lately bandwagoners who jumped on the last two years (you can spot them in their shiny new jerseys with clever names on the back like "Lemieux" (Don't believe me? I have a PICTURE) and "Detroit S*cks" on the back.......I laugh in your face and revel in the fact that "your" team has been dismantled by the son of a legend who clearly ain't his daddy. (For you bangwagoners.....that's Stan Bowman....son of legend Scotty Bowman. You lost Niemi after San Jose offer sheet bombed you on Hjalmarsson. Gotta say, I hate the Sharks as much as the next Wings fan but damn, gotta give 'em propos for ruining Chicago's day with that offer sheet. HAHAHAHAHAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA~ Wings regain the Central Division title this year. Bank it, suckers. |

No Complaints. Very Satisfied! |
After reading some good and bad reviews about this dvd, I was skeptical. I received it, played it, and am completely happy with my purchase. It recaps the season well, obviously focusing on the playoffs.
Simply put, if you're a Blackhawks fan, you need this to reflect on the year of history.
Also, the blu-ray is AWESOME. |

Enjoyable Until Game 4 of the Finals....Defective Blu-ray? |

The NHL Stanley Cup Champions 2010: Blackhawks Stanley Cup Blu-ray was very enjoyable until it begin freezing up over and over again from the chapter beginning with game 4 of the Finals. I tried removing the disc and turning my Sony Blu-ray player off and re-inserting the Blu-ray only to have it freeze up again and jump to the next chapter and freeze up several more times. I gave up! From what I was able to see, it was a great recap of an amazing season. I'm wondering if any other customers have experienced their Blu-ray freezing up? Is it the disc or could it be my player? So damn frustrating. |
