I read in the Star that this product should help older Mercedes-Benz that were not designed for ethanol. I have 2 with M103 motor and they do idle a bit smoother. I use it every time. The large bottle is easier to pour into the tank than the little ones. Good price. |

I have used regular STA-BIL in the fuel stored for our lawnmowers, trimmers, outboard motors and regular boat motors for years. Since I have 3 boats with fuel storage requirements, I decided to try the Marine Fuel Stabilizer. I'm not sure how you can measure the residual effects of the marine solution but figured since the regular solution worked so well over the years that the marine solution would certainly work better. The item ordered from Premier-shopping was received as described and the shipment arrived in a timely manner. I will be putting the marine solution to use in upcoming weeks and will update this review should any issues be encountered. |

Why wouldn't you want to use this product? Added to every tank of gas ensures you will always be feeding the best conditioned gas to your motor. Also ensures that you are protected during off-season storage. Don't crank up without it. |

Stabil vs Stabil Marine Ethanol Stabilizer |

I have recently started using the new Stabil Marine formula instead of their regular (red) product. I can report that the Marine (green) works as well as the red but don't know how to tell that its better. This stuff is the real deal when it comes to gas stabilization. I don't think there is a better product on the market for this purpose. These products have saved me and many others untold grief dealing with sludged fuel and varnished carburetors. I add it to my non-auto fuel at the gas station which mixes it well and prevents me from putting non-treated gas in any of my motors. You never know when some toy or piece of equipment is going to sit for a while and it sure is nice when they start right up. If anyone knows how to rate the red vs green product I am sure all of us would like to hear about it. The green cost more but could be worth it. |
